LSU vs. Ole Miss A Holy War of Good vs. Evil
This story has been written thousands
of times throughout history. It has been represented in a myriad of scriptures,
paintings, and real-world events around the globe. Different depictions can be
found in the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Quran, Michaelangelo’s
paintings etc. This weekend, we will get the chance to see this classic tale play out live in our current realm in the form of an SEC football game. LSU vs.
Ole Miss. The way I see it, it is clear which University represents goodness
and which represents wickedness.
Lane
Kiffin is the antichrist. He is pompous, deceitful, proud, and greedy. His
wickedness knows no bounds. He used his cunning wit and silver tongue to
deceive the people of the great state of Mississippi. As Lane
assumed the position of the Supreme Ruler at Ole Miss, he gained the trust of
the people. He did exactly what the people wanted from their head coach and
turned the program into a real contender in the SEC. He gave them power and
hope for the future. He found a diamond in the rough in Trinidad Chambliss to
be his victorious champion on the field. Chambliss and the Rebels trusted their
coach and believed he loved them and wanted them to succeed. Little did they
know, the only thing that matters to the antichrist is his own victory. Never
fretting over the success of those who rely on him. Just as they arrived at the
pinnacle of competition, the college football playoff, Lane abandoned his team
for more money at a more prestigious college football institution. Now as he
attempts to bend the rules and sign pro players to collegiate competition, he
claims that he is “just trying to do what is right by these kids.”
Trinidad Chambliss
is Saint Michael the archangel. He is the true champion that the people of
Mississippi are searching for. He will not be broken by the departure of his
former leader. Trinidad Chambliss is truly he who will lead the Ole Miss Rebels
to glory. College football fans need a hero to restore the balance of yin-yang,
good within evil and evil within good to the world of sports.
While Lane Kiffin
continues to succeed, the forces of evil are dominating the exchange, and
proper balance cannot be realized. The message that Lane Kiffin’s success sends
to the world is an afront to virtue, kindness, fairness and all that is good. In
Lane Kiffin’s world, loyalty and respect are meaningless. Sportsmanship is
nowhere to be found. Players are mercenaries doing his bidding rather than
young men realizing their potential as human beings.
This will be a
ferocious battle. The drums will pound louder than in other games. The fans
will be consumed by a frenetic energy coursing through Vaught-Hemingway Stadium
in Oxford Mississippi. Players and coaches will need to maintain a one-pointed
mind focused on the task or become consumed by the chaotic energy. If you are
not from the state of Louisiana and you are rooting LSU on September 19, 2026,
you are an agent of demonic cause. Victory to the Rebels. May Goodness prevail.
